Osu Shopping Arcade is located in Naka Ward, Nagoya City, and is one of the most vibrant shopping arcades in Japan with a history of more than 400 years. More than 1,200 stores, including restaurants, clothing stores, general merchandise stores, and electronics stores, line the 1,700 meter-long arcade. The area has flourished since the Edo period as the gateway to temples such as Osu Kannon and Manshoji, and is now known as a center of multinational culture and subcultures. On the 18th and 28th of every month, an antique market is held in the precincts of Osu Kannon, attracting many people.
